Cleveland Clinic Training Programs provide a comprehensive experience in an academically oriented setting. Such training enables our graduates to pursue careers in academic or clinical general internal medicine, or to continue training in one of the subspecialties of internal medicine.
Faculty members are deeply committed to teaching residents and students. The academic environment, formed by the interaction of residents with faculty and medical students, enhances patient care and fosters a vigorous learning environment. The members of the Division of Medicine are full-time clinicians, whose teaching expertise in the outpatient and inpatient environment is based on significant clinical experience in patient care. Many of the faculty are nationally and internationally known for their research activities and continue this commitment by mentoring resident research projects.
