Shurtech Opens On-Site Employee Health Clinic
Doing what’s best for employees and seeking progressive ways to control employee benefit costs, ShurTech Brands LLC recently opened an employee health clinic in its Avon headquarters facility. Operated and staffed by Cleveland Clinic physician assistant Stacey Herman and includes an exam room and lab. The space will give ShurTech’s more than 350 employees convenient access to world-class health care.
“Within our health system, we have taken steps toward value-based care and cost containment through management of chronic conditions,” says Joseph Knapp, MD, Regional Administration, who directs the new clinic. “Now, through this relationship with ShurTech, we have extended the model into an employer setting.”
Cleveland Clinic breaks ground on new Avon hospital
Designed as a “hospital of the future,” Cleveland Clinic has broken ground on its new hospital in Avon, which is scheduled to open in 2016.
The five-story, 221,500-square-foot addition, estimated at more than $143 million, will be built onto the north side of the existing Richard E. Jacobs Health Center located off Nagel Road. The new facility will have 126 private hospital rooms, including a small intensive care unit which can be converted into an observation or a medical-surgical unit based on patient needs.
Ground has officially broken on the new Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital. Due to the construction, new parking spots are available at Richard E. Jacobs Health Center. All parking spaces west of the facility are now open for patient and visitor parking. Complimentary valet and shuttle services are also available for your convenience.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding during this construction phase.
