Sometimes we need some support getting through difficult times. The following support groups meet at Medina Hospital. Support Groups are free and all are welcome to attend.
Diabetes Support Group
Location: Medina Hospital, Entrance A, Dining Conference Room.

This support group is open to interested members of the community and all participants of the Diabetes Self-Management Program. A registered nurse will lead the group and facilitate discussion. Our goals: To discuss your personal experiences about living with diabetes or caring for someone with diabetes; To connect you with others affected by diabetes who will listen and share their own experiences. Please join us and share your ideas with one another.
NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) Support Group
Meeting Date: Second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.

If you are an adult family member who has a loved one that suffers from a serious mental illness, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression or severe anxiety disorder, attend the NAMI Support Group. You're not alone. Learn how to cope with the daily issues when a loved one has a mental illness, how to utilize the telephone support system and the benefits and services that are available.
