Lakewood Hospital offers many outpatient services on the hospital's main campus.
Below find our outpatient departments to take care of your diagnostic testing, such as radiology (X-ray, MRI, mammography), blood tests, endoscopy, emergency care or cardiac stress testing.
Most outpatient care requires a scheduled appointment and an order from your doctor. Your doctor will be able to provide you with information about scheduling an outpatient procedure at the hospital.

Cardiovascular Testing Services»
Lakewood Hospital Cardiovascular Testing Services, located on the first floor of the hospital, offers state-of-the-art diagnostic testing such as EKGs, stress tests, holter and long term monitoring, echocardiography and vascular ultrasound testing.
Regardless of the exam you are having, you must present an order for the procedure from your physician. On the day of your procedure, please bring the physician order, insurance cards and a picture ID to Cardiovascular Testing Services.

Laboratory (Blood tests)»
Lakewood Hospital’s laboratory is a full-service laboratory equipped to perform testing which spans the major disciplines of laboratory medicine that provides rapid, accurate, and meaningful data for optimum patient care.
The laboratory and blood bank are certified by the College of American Pathologists, and utilizes Cleveland Clinic for specialized testing.

Note: A valid order, less than one year old, from a licensed physician is required, including date, physician signature, and diagnosis or reason for testing. Results are delivered to the ordering physician upon completion of test.
Lakewood Hospital Radiology, located on the second floor of the hospital, offers state-of-the-art diagnostic and interventional radiology services that include x-ray, nuclear medicine, CT scan, MRI, ultrasound, bone densitometry, mammography and angiography.
Most outpatient x-ray exams are performed on a walk-in basis, during business hours. MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography, bone density and other special procedures require an appointment.
Regardless of the type of exam you are having, you must present an order from your physician for the procedure. On the day of your procedure, please register in the Radiology Department before having your test.
NOTE: Lakewood Hospital offers the HOPE program, which provides FREE mammograms for uninsured women.
