Opportunities for Volunteers
We want you to enjoy your work at Fairview and feel comfortable with your assigned duties. That’s why we offer so many different opportunities for volunteer placement.
You can work directly with patients, transporting them in wheelchairs or delivering flowers to their rooms. Or if you’d rather serve in a support function, you can help with clerical work or run errands for our various departments. The choice is yours to make.
If you see something listed here that interests you, please let us know. Or, if you have a special skill you think we could use, we’d be glad to discuss it with you.
Training & Orientation
The volunteer office has a monthly orientation for new volunteers. For every specific job, there is specific training. Training will either be offered by the volunteer staff or will be offered by the department which the volunteer will be working in.
