Medina Hospital Wound Healing Center now open

Medina Hospital's Wound Healing Center is now open, offering chronic wound care management in an outpatient setting. The center provides complete wound care services to those suffering from diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections, compromised skin grafts and flaps. The center has a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses and therapists dedicated to healing chronic wounds and features Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy - or H-B-O. This treatment provides the patient with 100 percent oxygen while resting inside a pressurized room, which promotes wound healing.
