As an Adult Fairview volunteer (ages 18 and older), you’ll give more to the hospital than we could ever give back. To show you just how grateful we are, we offer a few small tokens of appreciation:
- Meals and parking. On the days you come to work, we’ll provide a guest meal for you in our cafeteria. And, of course, you won’t have to pay for parking, either.
- Volunteer Association Recognition Luncheon. Once a year, we invite our volunteers to a very special luncheon. It’s our way of saying “thank you” for your dedicated service. You’ll enjoy a wonderful meal, entertainment, and lots of praise for work well done. Junior Volunteers will enjoy a bowling party in the fall for all of their hard work and dedication.
- Recognition pins. As an adult, when you’ve accumulated 500 volunteer hours, you’ll be awarded a Fairview Hospital Pin to wear. And for each additional 500 hours thereafter, you’ll get a service bar to add to it. For Junior Volunteers, you will receive a 100 hour recognition pin for every 100 hours of service you give to Fairview Hospital.
