Cleveland Clinic is excited to bring a new leading edge hospital to the Avon community!
Adjacent to the existing Richard E. Jacobs Health Center, the new hospital will be five stories tall with 126 private hospital beds and designed to accommodate future advances in medical care.
Expected to open in Fall 2016, the hospital will provide both inpatient and outpatient services to better meet the needs of the community.

- 126 new private patient rooms (114 med/surg beds and 12 ICU beds)
- Expanded Cardiovascular Services

Cleveland Clinic breaks ground on new Avon hospital
Designed as a “hospital of the future,” Cleveland Clinic has broken ground on its new hospital in Avon, which is scheduled to open in 2016.
The five-story, 212,000-square-foot addition will be built onto the north side of the existing Richard E. Jacobs Health Center located off Nagel Road. The new facility will have 126 private hospital rooms, including a small intensive care unit that can be converted into an observation or a medical-surgical unit based on patient needs.
