- Provide you with web page links and resources about your condition
- Help you find the right physician or surgeon to diagnose and/or treat your condition
- Tell you how to get a second opinion
- Help you make an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic
- Provide information and resources for your Cleveland Clinic visit
Please understand that the online nurses do not diagnose conditions or prescribe treatment. Medical information provided by the Cleveland Clinic, in the absence of a visit with a health care professional, must be considered an educational service only.
Before you start your chat, a pre-chat questionnaire will ask for your name, date of birth and a brief description of your question. This will help the nurse answer your question more quickly. You may also be asked to provide your e-mail address or phone number in case the chat is disconnected unexpectedly. The information is secure and not shared with anyone.
At the end of your chat, you will have an opportunity to ask for a transcript to be e-mailed to you and you will be asked to complete a brief post-chat survey. Please take the time to complete this survey, because your feedback helps us improve our service and keep Patients First!
