The CC HNI Section of Nasal & Sinus Disorders is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to patients with complex sinonasal disorders. The Section’s physicians emphasize comprehensive strategies that combine both medical treatments and sinus and nasal surgery. In addition, the section has earned both national and international recognition for its clinical and basic science research, and the section has an active program for resident, fellow and practicing physician education.

Physician Profiles
Pete S. Batra, MD
Pete S. Batra, M.D., is a nationally recognized rhinologist who currently serves as an assistant professor in the Head and Neck Institute. Dr. Batra graduated summa cum Laude from the University of Missouri School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Northwestern University and pursued fellowship training in rhinology at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Batra is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a fellow of the American Rhinologic Society. Dr. Batra has co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. Dr. Batra is active in both the American Rhinologic Society and American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. Dr. Batra’s areas of clinical interest include medical and surgical management of refractory chronic rhinosinusitis and sinonasal polyposis, image-guided surgery, endoscopic lacrimal and orbital surgery, CSF leak repair, and minimally invasive skull base surgery.
