Overview

Overview

Established in 1942, the Cleveland Clinic Martin Health Auxiliary has an extensive history as an integral part of Martin Health System. Over the years, as Martin Health has grown, so has the Auxiliary. Today, with more than 850 volunteers, the Auxiliary is one of the largest auxiliaries in the state of Florida.

Volunteers are found at nearly every Cleveland Clinic Martin Health location, supporting the organization's mission and its associates by enriching the patient experience. They come from all walks of life and backgrounds; they are retirees, working adults, college students and teenagers offering their time and skills to give back to their community. Together they contribute the equivalent hours of more than 80 full-time employees.

Beyond its volunteers, the Auxiliary focuses on philanthropic contributions. Through their revenue-generating activities, they support Martin Health facilities and programs.

The Auxiliary is a member of the Association of Florida Healthcare Auxilians/Volunteers.
