The Cleveland Clinic Florida Health and Wellness Center welcomed more than 200 benefactors and friends to a private open house on Wednesday, January 21. Cleveland Clinic CEO Delos M. Cosgrove, M.D., and Bernie Fernandez, M.D., CEO of Cleveland Clinic in Florida, were on hand to greet guests and extend their gratitude to the many ardent supporters that helped bring the renowned medical institution to West Palm Beach.
A cocktail reception was held on the 14th floor of City Place Tower, the new home of the expanded Cleveland Clinic Florida Health and Wellness Center. Attendees were introduced to the team of medical specialists permanently based in the West Palm Beach office. Tours of the 25,000-square-foot facility were provided along with a sneak peek at what phase two of the center’s development will have to offer.
Minnie Pulitzer McCluskey and her mother Lilly Pulitzer Rousseau were among the honored guests at the open house. Minnie gave heart-felt testimony about how Cleveland Clinic saved her mother’s life. Both women are active organizers of BREAKTHROUGH!, the inaugural gala benefiting the Cleveland Clinic Florida Health and Wellness Center, which is being held on Thursday, February 26 at The Breakers.
