You don’t have to suffer from the fatigue, changes in weight, sweating and trouble sleeping associated with many thyroid disorders. We can help.
At Cleveland Clinic’s Thyroid Center, we have designed our services so that all of the specialists you need – including endocrinologists, endocrine surgeons and a complete nursing staff – work together under one roof as a team to accurately diagnose and treat all forms of thyroid disorders.
Most people never give their thyroid a thought until something goes wrong. Yet, more than 20 million Americans have some type of thyroid disorder – whether hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules and goiters, or thyroid cancer.
Our endocrine services are continuously ranked in the Top 10 nationwide by U.S. News & World Report and are No. 1 in Ohio.
One call gives you easy access to our multidisciplinary team that will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan to help ensure the best possible outcome and quality of life.
Why Choose Us
Our Thyroid Center has nationally and internationally recognized expertise in thyroid ultrasound, novel diagnostic markers and genetic evaluations of thyroid cancer patients. It is one of only a few centers nationwide to provide radio frequency ablation of liver metastases from thyroid cancer and have robotic surgery expertise.
Our high-volume center is the home of the largest thyroid cancer surgical program in Ohio and the five surrounding states, performing more than 500 endocrine surgical procedures every year – many of which are complex and reoperative surgeries.
The center is structured for collaboration among experts from a variety of Cleveland Clinic specialties, including endocrinologists, endocrine surgeons, pathologists, radiologists, genomic medicine experts and oncologists from Taussig Cancer Institute, as well as the physicians and surgeons from other Cleveland Clinic Institutes, when needed.
These experts all work hand-in-hand with your primary care physician to help you receive the most seamless care for your condition possible on an ongoing basis.
