EMS Academy strives to provide the highest quality of education for all levels of EMS providers. Our knowledgeable and experienced instructional staff includes individuals active in rural, urban and critical care environments, who are from a variety of pre-hospital environments and have more than 50 years of experience.
With the support of Cleveland Clinic's health system – Western Region, we offer a state-of-the-art education center complete with two integrated classrooms, four laboratories and a computer lab with 30 student computers.
We also offer Blackboard, an online learning system that augments our student's educational opportunities beyond the traditional classroom setting.

Once you're certified as an EMT-Basic, you can progress to our cutting-edge Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic course. Our EMT-Paramedic course will assist you with getting a firefighter job or a position in an Emergency Room. The course is slightly shorter than a year and maximizes the available resources at Cleveland Clinic.
