Cleveland Clinic’s Taussig Cancer Institute is seeking qualified applicants for a one year Research Fellowship dedicated to developing expertise in clinical trial conduct and patient care across solid tumor oncology. The Fellowship is a one year program designed for candidates who have completed a Fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology.
The Experimental Therapeutics Fellowship is designed to integrate clinical and translational research with patient care. The overall goal is for fellows to improve their skills as a clinical investigator. The expectation is to obtain in-depth training into new therapies under investigation, follow patients on clinical trials, report results of treatment and present at national meetings in abstract as well as manuscript form. Fellow’s clinical responsibilities consist of ambulatory rotations based at Cleveland Clinic’s Taussig Cancer Institute. No inpatient rotations are required. Additionally, he or she is expected to participate in writing research protocol(s) for experimental drugs and design clinical trial(s). Presenting their work at national meetings and conferences is essential.
