Cleveland Clinic’s Referring Physician Center has established a 24/7 hotline for referring physicians and their office staff to streamline access to our array of medical services. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you and your patients when you entrust us with their care.
Contact the Referring Physician Hotline to obtain information on our clinical specialists and services; schedule and confirm patient appointments; receive assistance in the resolution of any service-related issues; and connect with Cleveland Clinic specialists.
When contacting us to schedule your patients, please have the following information readily available:
- Patient demographic information
- Reason for visit
- Any special needs that will require facilitation once the patient arrives
- Patient insurance information, if available
We will work with your patient to complete the registration process and to schedule an appointment at the patient's convenience. You will be notified once the appointment is scheduled.

Cleveland Clinic's Breast Surgery fellowship is a fully accredited approved SSO Breast Training Program. The primary goal of the fellowship is to provide in-depth training in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and breast disease.
The major strength of this program is the experience in mastering the advanced surgical techniques performed by our breast surgeons such as nipple sparing mastectomies, oncoplastic surgery and intraoperative radiation therapy. Additionally, the fellow obtains hands-on training from our surgeons in ultrasound and stereotactic biopsy techniques
This is an academic fellowship with weekly multidisciplinary conferences and monthly journal clubs. It is expected that the fellow will complete a clinical research project during the fellowship year that will be submitted for publication and presentation at a national meeting.
The fellow learns the multidisciplinary approach to breast cancer through dedicated monthly rotations.

How to Apply»
The applicant must be board eligible of board certified in general surgery as determined by the American Board of Surgery and be able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice in Ohio.
Cleveland Clinic participates in the SSO match and applications are submitted online through the Society of Surgical Oncology website.
Based on their credentials and letters of reference, select applicants will be invited to Cleveland for a formal interview in the fall. This full-interview includes meetings with the various Breast Center staff, a tour of Cleveland Clinic and an opportunity to meet with current fellow(s). The final selection is made at a joint meeting of all staff members. T administers the matching program selection process.
