The Cleveland Clinic Art Program, Arts & Medicine Institute, was established at Cleveland Clinic in 2006.
The mission of the Art Program is to enrich, inspire and enliven our patients, visitors, employees and community and to embody the core values of the institution: collaboration, quality, integrity, compassion and commitment.
The department is responsible for selecting new acquisitions for the Cleveland Clinic collection, acting in an advisory capacity to the Aesthetics Committee and the Department of Institutional Relations and Development to assist with donations of artworks to Cleveland Clinic, and providing services ranging from installation to inventory and upkeep of the collection throughout all Cleveland Clinic facilities. In addition, the Art Program curates and organizes exhibitions and related educational programming.
The Program consists of an Executive Director and Curator, Joanne Cohen; two Curators, Jennifer Finkel and Bellamy Printz; Michael Dickas, Registrar and Preparator; and Deborah Sherwood, Administrative Assistant.

There is an Art Exhibition Area on Main Campus which features several shows each year as well as occasional related public programs.
The collection includes works by local, national and internationally known artists in all media. The collection of over 3,500 works of fine art is dispersed throughout the Cleveland Clinic Health System in patient rooms, hallways and public spaces. Included are major site-specific commissions and a diverse collection of Modern and Contemporary Art.
