The Neurosurgical Anesthesia Fellowship Program at Cleveland Clinic Foundation is a one year course designed to train anesthesiologists competent in anesthetic management of complicated neurosurgical and spine surgeries. This program prepares its graduates for leading positions in this field as well as to motivate them in initiation and continuation of clinical or basic science studies of neurosurgical anesthesia.

We select two fellows for this program. The duration of the program is 12 months which, in addition to the clinical education in the anesthetic management of neurosurgical procedures, the fellows will have the opportunity to excel through research and educational practices. The participants will also receive formal education in the neuro-intensive care unit, neurophysiologic monitoring, and trans-esophageal echocardiogram. Participation through instructing and guiding residents along with performing valuable research are important components of The Neurosurgical Ansethesia Fellowship Program.
