Cleveland Clinic is committed to transparent communications regarding our progress, goals and challenges.
We adhere to the principles presented in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), a strategic policy initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with universally-accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. With 5,000 stakeholders from more than 120 countries, the United Nations Global Compact is the world’s largest voluntary corporate citizenship initiative.
In 2008, Cleveland Clinic became the first healthcare provider in the United States to become a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact, and the second in the world. We prepare an annual Communication on Progress report. Our first, which highlighted social, environmental and ethical business practices, was issued in 2010.
