Dr Rothner was fantastic

Reviewed on Jul 14, 2020

Dr Rothner was recommended to us by one of our doctors in Michigan. I can't say enough nice things about him. He is truly a very caring and compassionate doctor. we just love him!!

Reviewed on Jun 26, 2020

Dr. Rothner called just before 11, which was perfect. All contact we had with the Clinic by phone has been easy and helpful.

Reviewed on Jun 26, 2020

We couldn't be happier with Dr. Rothner or his team. So professional, caring, knowledgeable, and efficient. Can't stress enough how important this care has been to us.

Reviewed on Jun 18, 2020

Dr. Rothner is the first doctor, even among pediatric headache neurologists, who helped my son with his migraines. Dr. Rothner's bedside manner is exceptional, as is his attention to detail. This helped motivate my son to follow the doctor's recommendations and has led to the success of treatment.

I'm answering these questions thinking of Dr. Rothner. He has an NP with him the entire time, but I'm referring to him. He seems very knowledgeable, has a decent bedside manner, and treated my daughter like a person & not a diagnosis. However, he doesn't do a great job of including me as the parent in his plan or discussion. While I appreciate that his focus is the patient (my daughter) and not the family member, I have been her champion through what she's gone through, her advocate. And I'm an advanced practice nurse, so I know more than the average joe. He asked me if I had any questions but his answer lacked substance or details. Plus about half the visit was him struggling with the minutiae of the job--the phone, the transcription, the computer. Neither he nor the NP with him bothered to tell us the result of the EKG. Luckily I know how to read them so looked at it myself before we left. (A nurse called us the next day to tell us it was fine, but if I hadn't looked at it that would have been 24hrs of not knowing.) His note actually has nothing of substance to it. So when I printed it to give to our neurologist at home, it didn't tell her a damn thing. It's not that I doubt his vast knowledge & clinical competency, it's that he seems to exist on a different level & floats at a different parallel place where details are lost. I definitely appreciate VASTLY how he said he'd call our home neurologist (his was a second opinion) & even gave me his personal cell phone number to give to our home neurologist for her to call him directly. And he was very available to return my call & answer questions after the visit. That was great & rare any more.

Dr Rothner is a wonderful doctor.

Reviewed on May 27, 2020

Dr. Rothner is one of the most thorough and thoughtful physicians we have ever encountered. His bedside manner is excellent. Wish all doctors were like him.

Reviewed on May 14, 2020

I always appreciate Dr. Rothner's expertise and time at appointments.

Reviewed on May 14, 2020

It was so nice not to have to drive in! My commute to appointments is usually an hour, plus finding parking and getting into the building. I follow up with Dr. Rothner every 6 months. It would be beneficial to alternate every other visit in person, and the other virtually. The in person one would still be beneficial to monitor skin changes and growth of neurofibromas.

Dr. Rothner is an amazing doctor. He figured out the problem my daughter was experiencing after MANY doctors could not. He has provided excellent treatment and she is MUCH better as a result. We will always be very greatful for him. He is respectful and very caring.

Absolutely an awesome doctor. We could not have gotten anyone better.

Reviewed on Jan 2, 2020

We cannot adequately express our gratitude to Dr. Rothner for his care and concern for our daughter and helping her through her headaches. She found no relief from local providers in our immediate area. Dr. Rothner truly was an answer to prayers. He is always well informed and up to date on all aspects of treatment, and genuinely cares for the total well being of his patients. Thank you again Dr. Rothner for who you are and all you do to help and serve kids! You truly are the BEST!
