Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.
As of 6/14/2017, Dr. Goldberg has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. Public Health Service-Reportable Financial Conflicts of Interest. Cleveland Clinic scientists and physicians engage in basic, translational and clinical research activities, working to solve health problems, enhance patient care and improve quality of life for patients. Interactions with industry are essential to bringing the researchers' discoveries to the public, but can present the potential for conflicts of interest related to their research activities. dr laura goldberg was excellent. she seemed to know her stuff. when i didnt have / she didnt have the images and results from tri-point, she was able to make an assessment of my condition quickly right in the exam room. i appreciate that she took that initiative and didnt allow my visit to be wasted without the tri-point info at hand.

again the care was excellent but I had several important matters to discuss and the doctor was in a big hurry and running late. She answered my question but it was a lot of information to digest in very little time

Dr. Goldberg was very helpful during my visit. She explained what she was doing and answered all my questions.

I complained about the side effects of the anti-inflammatory, and Dr. Goldberg immediately offered my other options and submitted a script to my pharmacy provider. She also strongly encouraged me to make my follow-up consult appointment immediately, which I did.

I appreciate Dr. Goldberg's "conservative approach and overall thought process aBout my care, not quick to order unnecessary tea.ts or procedures.

Dr. Goldberg took personal interest in my situation and explained the diagnosis possibilities. She helped facilitate the imaging scheduling and called the same day to advise of results and next steps. I have received follow up calls to check in on my condition and progress. I am beyond impressed.

a bit rushed; one staff member commented on how many patients they see each day

Dr. Goldberg is always thorough with treatment & explanation. She treats me like a person not just a patient.

Appointment seemed rushed as if trying to fit in a certain amount of patients a day and they were behind

Dr. Goldberg is very thorough, professional and efficient. I have been a patient over five years and see her every several months for injections. She is consistent, and follows-up every time. I always feel like she understands my knee issues and is up to date on my progress or lack of it. She has an amazing memory since she sees so many patients at three different facilities.

she didn't know why I was in pain so prescribed me neuro meds and told me that my foot pain was coming from my back which is not ! and to top it off , she couldn't figure it out and instead of running more test she through me to spine ! when I told her that it does not make sense the pain is strictly in my foot.

She spoke too fast. Refused to demonstrate exercises. Diagnosed my child with a condition I never heard of and expected me to remember. Thank Godit was on after summary and I Googled it!

It was not a good experience. I thought the doctor was insensitive & abrupt. I'm sorry she is who I was assigned to. My doctor of over 25 yrs. retired which is why I had to see a new doctor.
