Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.
As of 4/15/2018, Dr. Khatri has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Khatri is an amazing doctor that I look forward to working with as she follows and tries to maintain my auto immune disease. She is thoughtful, kind, and considerate and really takes the time to listen to the patient as well as understand and prepare before the visit with reading medical history.

The care provider came in within 10 minutes and was good at explaining things.

I have been a patient of Dr. Khatri's for just a few months. However, she has provided more information, experience, and treatment than six other clinicians ever could in the eleven months I attempted to find a diagnosis for my severe asthma. In fact, I am not even sure that words can encapsulate the amount of gratitude and respect I have for her. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and empathetic. She humanizes the experience and is unfailingly willing to explain all physiology, believing that her patients are in fact capable of understanding their own condition(s). In her own words, as I think she put it best, "there is always treatment and always hope. [w]e don't give up." Thank you, Dr. Khatri, for your patience, kindness and your constant, aggressive treatment of a very frustrating disease. I appreciate you and your work more than I can express!

Dr Khatri spent a lot of time developing a plan for my asthma and explaining to me why certain things were being ordered or prescribed. She was very kind and has an excellent bedside manner. I enjoyed my visit with her and how she involves the patient in their own care plan.
