I have been suffering with severe gout for 10 to 15 years. I have seen many doctors with no true game plan to help my condition until my very fortunate appointment with Dr.Gota!! From the moment she started examining me she was very confident on what I had and how we can fix it. She started treating me right in exam room and put together a regimen of medications which have worked phenomena within a few days I was walking and now a couple of weeks later I am back to work and feeling like my old self. I haven't felt this good in years my body is responding very favorable to the medication!

The receptionist who checked me out after my appointment was incredibly rude. When I told her when Dr Gota wanted to see me back she did not try to accommodate that. I ended up sending Dr Gota a message on my chart and received a call back right away and the new person was very helpful. Dr Gota wanted me back in 3 months and also changed my meds. The 1st receptionist said it would be May before I could be seen. She only offered me 7am appts and I live over an hour away.

Dr. Gota was kind and seemed genuinely concerned. She spent quite a bit of time explaining and discussing with me (an anomaly in today's medical world). Although her opinion differed from what I had been previously told by other physicians, I appreciated her honesty and genuineness. I felt comfortable talking with her. While she decided I should be seeing a different specialist, she was still informative and allowed me ample time to ask questions and discuss.

Saw this provider for the first time in September 2021. She asked me if I was seeing the rheumatologist fro rheumatoid arthritis? I was shocked that she would ask such a question because that is exactly what I was being seen for. Dr. Asked me if I drank alcohol frequently and then told me she was placing me on methtrexate. She also said I would have to take folic acid. No explanation as to why etc... She never explained the benefits or barriers just ordered the medication and told me to follow up with her PA in 2 months. I read about methotrexate and decided I wasn't ready to deal with such side effects and will remain on plaquenil. Not very satisfied with care or communication. :(

This was my first visit with Dr. Gota since my previous RA doctor moved. Dr. Gota did not seem interested in me as a person and was very short and seemed uncaring from the time she walked in until the time we walked out together. She negatively disagreed with me and just was not warm or helpful at all. I do not plan on seeing her again.

This appointment was the best possible outcome. My rheumatologist, Dr. Rosian left and I would not have been able to see Dr. Gota until January (which would have been very bad for my medication and blood work). However, when I called her staff responded immediately and called me the next day with a cancellation and I was able to get in that same day! As I said, "best possible outcome". I love the Solon office and did not want to look for a Rheumatologist at another location and I really liked Dr. Gota. All around It was an excellent experience. Thank you Solon staff!

I went into this appointment after being referred to her by my PCP. I was experiencing extreme fatigue and a few other symptoms and was concerned about lupus, which my sister was diagnosed with recently. My labs were ok but my PCP wanted to cover all the bases due to having other autoimmune issues. Very valid reason for this visit. Dr. Gota Made me feel like I was a waste of time at this appointment. Asked tons of questions and kept typing the whole time, barely looking up. I felt that she really wasn't listening to me or my concerns. I felt rushed and unheard. I will never go back to this provider.

My doctor referred me to Orthopedics but somehow I ended up with Dr Dr Gota. She's a great doctor but she couldn't help me so she referred me to a spinal doctor. I haven't heard anything about the referral so I'm basically in limbo. I'm still hurting and don't have the answers about what treatment I need and I still haven't seen any one from orthopedics.

Reviewed on Aug 4, 2021
Doctor Gota was far more concerned with the messages coming through on her Apple watch than she was about getting to the bottom of what was going on with my health. When I asked for a full panel of blood work to help determine what was going on she acted as if it was unnecessary. In the end, I'm glad I insisted as it turned out I needed to see another specialist entirely. Additionally, she neglected to properly add the necessary referrals to my record which made scheduling the 2 additional appointments I needed unnecessarily difficult. Finally I had to inquire several times over the course of two full weeks before she finally put in the referral at all. Moving forward in this process, my only comfort is in knowing I will not need to work with her again.

She really cares for her patients and she wants to do everything possible to help her patients get the best treatment possible. She never gives up on me and is always willing to try new things if a medication is not working for me. She never rushes me, is always very thorough and makes me feel heard.
