I was pleasantly surprised I could receive treatment on the day of my exam. The time frame was reasonable from entering and exiting upon completion of the treatment. The doctors treatment has proved to have worked for whatI was experiencing and needed to have addressed.

Dr Gans excellent at explaining as exam performed.

The worked well together, but I believe the care from the actual provider, Dr. Gans, was severely lacking. I understand that he was likely swamped, but this is my time, health, and money. He seemed nice, but he brushed my issue off and have me zero time to ask questions, raise concerns or explain what was happening with my situation. For the above reason I will not recommend the Cole Eye Center. Also, figuring out where to park and ultimately how to get to the appointment when I parked a mile away was a nightmare.

People that work there are thorough and nice . I did not wait a long time and there was plenty of space so not to crowd in waiting room. If I had one critique it would be that the doctor did not Introduce himself to me . I liked him but just that part would have been better

Like I mentioned earlier, I'm disappointed at the wait time it takes from the time we call for an appointment to when we can actually be seen and receive the necessary care. This complaint applies to all departments we visit. To be very clear, your doctors are the best, but It can take forever to get In and see them. And If for some reason, an appointment is cancelled or needs to be rescheduled It can result In another long delay. We are Senior Citizens and live out of town, and should not have to wait (in our opinion) longer than 7 days from the day we call to get In. This is our only complaint about the Cleveland Clinic, that in all other respects is "top notch."

I was very pleased with the exam and the work of the technicain that ran all the tests but I needed more information about my eyes and the problems I have been having. Like the watering, the discomfort or soreness I have at times during the day. I seem to be losing sight in my right eye, the Dr. Didn't mention any changes. I also cannot see small print easily , so I usually take glasses off and try readers which doesn't do much good either. I limit my reading and TV time so my eyes won't get so tired, sometimes this helps sometimes not. Is there something I should be doing that I am not aware of. I wear my tinted glasses to eliminate glare most of the time. I just had hoped the Dr. Would be able to tell me bout my eyes and what I should do to eliminate the problems I have. I hope I haven't made this sound like I'm not grateful for the care I got , I just don't know what to expect or do. Thankyou for allowing me time to express my concerns.

I was expecting a visual field test since I was due at my last appointment in jan but was told at that time couldn't get it due to covid and not being able to clean the machine, this time the tech said oh no, can't do that test today when it's so late in the afternoon- even after Dr Gans saw concerning changes in my optic nerves I'm surprised I still wasn't given one. I was however referred to another doctor in October. I've also faxed a request for copies of my last three visual field tests and I've not heard back. Hoping to have those for my personal use ASAP.
