About Courtenay Moore, MD

Courtenay Moore, MD, received her medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, N.Y. After completing her internship and residency at Albany Medical College, she completed a two-year fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. During her fellowship, Dr. Moore was awarded the American Foundation for Urologic Disease Research Scholarship 2005-2007. She is currently a joint Staff member at Cleveland Clinic Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute and the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. Her clinical interests include pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, voiding dysfunction, female reconstructive surgery and female sexual dysfunction.

Dr. Moore has published extensively in her field and is an active member in the American Urologic Society, Society for Female Urology and Urodynamics, Society for Women in Urology and the American Urogynecologic Society.

Provider walked in & instead of saying hello , scolded me for inserting pessary before coming to appt.. I told her I was never informed NOT to have it in & it wasn't put in the instructions when I read my email. She seemed in a bad mood & it wasn't a pleasant visit

I see dr Moore every 3 months. I schedule for next appt before I leave but there were 2 occasions I had to reschedule. she is always very accommodating. I use my chart prn n always get a quick response.

Dr Courtney Moore is exceptional. I am being sent to Cleveland because of the complex nature of my condition. She is warm and caring and expresses concern and courage. I feel secure in her care and feel confident in her knowledge and expertise. we have a long road ahead. I'm thrilled that she is the captain of this journey to guide our medical decisions in this area of urigynocology.

i specifically wanted to see Dr, Moore. however, her assisting physician came into exam room first. i explained my problems to him, he took notes, then left. dr, Moore came in the roon shortly after (along with her assisting dr) and seemed to presume she knew all my issues. she didn't ask me to state the problems I was having, nor asked me to expand.she proceeded to tell me what my options were and gave me an exam. at one time, I tried to expand on what she was saying to me and she rolled her eyes. I was very dissatisfied when I left, and felt she did not even care to hear what I had to say,
