Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.

To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

I felt rushed, not listened to, talked down to, and uninformed. I'm a medical professional myself so I have empathy for other providers and always give them the benefit of the doubt but frankly, I left in tears.

Doctor Moore is amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in explaining and treating my prolapse.. Her team at Beachwood was gentle and caring. I highly recommend Dr. Moore. I had very little pain after the procedure and went home the same day, The following day I only needed to take a couple Advils. I feel so much better and I appreciate all she did to help me.

best doctor ever very nice caring and compassionate

I went there with questions in mind. Before I could even ask, the doctor had already given me a wealth of information and answered the questions before I even asked them. This in turn, only left a few questions for me to ask.

I really enjoyed my time working with Dr. Courtney Moore. She has an outstanding bed side manor and I have nothing but the out most respect for her. I will never hesitate recommending her to friends and family.

Reviewed on Apr 25, 2016

She used a model to explain what she was talking about which was very helpful. She let me ask questions and explained everything in terms I could understand. She made sure I had no other questions before leaving me with follow up instructions, verbally and written.
