Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.
As of 2/10/2020, Dr. Kahn has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. Dr Kahn is incredibly caring, conscientious, thorough. When I first met her I was in terrible pain due to TMJ and over the years she worked with me to change my quality of life. I'm so grateful of her care!

going directly to my doctor through My Chart for a much needed fast appointment was much better than getting a quick appointment through the appointment scheduling desk.

I don't feel like there was a good plan in place. The provider was very kind and seemed very attentive during discussions but I was not satisfied at the end of the visit with the treatment plan or lack thereof.

I was referred by my primary dentist for a night guard fitting to aid in easing jaw pain and teeth grinding. The process was very spread out over a years time or more because I was also getting gum surgery and a bridge repaired. This long gap between my initial consult and my series of appointments for the guard did not alter the care given me or the attention to my dental needs. Dr. Kahn and her staff were fantastic, start to finish.

I have seen Dr. Kahn on numerous occasions, often for serious and painful problems. She has been always been very willing to see me on short notice and takes wonderful care of me with careful explanations of what to do presently and in the future. Moreover, I have referred my daughter, son-in-law (who were living in Africa at the time) and a friend with an immediate need and they received prompt, professional and excellent care and in the case of my children from Africa, a thorough discussion of the need to be present in this country for long term care and a complete explanation of problems. I couldn't be more pleased with our care from Dr. Kahn.

All good. Dr Kahn encouraged me to consult an endodontist because she felt an old root canal could be the cause of my TMJ. She recommended Dr Myers in Solon. After having the root canal redone, I had relief from the TMJ and am almost completely free of the pain. I continue to wear the night guard that Dr Kahn so meticulously crafted with confidence that my pain will continue to subside.
