Industry Relationships

Industry Relationships

Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.

To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

As of 9/10/2018, Dr. Morris has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. Public Health Service-Reportable Financial Conflicts of Interest. Cleveland Clinic scientists and physicians engage in basic, translational and clinical research activities, working to solve health problems, enhance patient care and improve quality of life for patients. Interactions with industry are essential to bringing the researchers' discoveries to the public, but can present the potential for conflicts of interest related to their research activities. Click here to view a listing of instances where Cleveland Clinic has identified a Public Health Service (PHS)-Reportable Financial Conflict of Interest and has put measures in place to ensure that, to the extent possible, the design, conduct and reporting of the research is free from bias.

I believe there is a long wait time because Dr. Morris spends Quality time with each patient

Reviewed on Sep 24, 2018

Doctor was caught in traffic and arrived 45 min later than scheduled.

Reviewed on Sep 17, 2018

My first visit with Dr. Morris. Enjoyed speaking with her, she really took the time to get to know me and let me know her.

Reviewed on Sep 4, 2018

I was informed of a 30 minute delay by the tv screen in the waiting area. I was taken back at the 1 hour mark. I was seen about 10 minutes after that. Dr. Morris explained it was due to it being a day after a holiday. I understood, as she always gives me undivided attention once I get seen.

Reviewed on Aug 27, 2018

I find Dr Morris to be very Empathetic and willing to listen to my concerns as it relates to my treatment.

Reviewed on Aug 21, 2018

I usually make my appointment on line, which I find very helpful because that can be done out of normal business hours. Dr. Morris always takes the time to listen to any concerns that I may have and she has a reassuring, calm type of personality.

Reviewed on Aug 20, 2018

the doctor could have asked if I had any problems or concerns that I wanted to discuss. she left the room before I realized that she wasn't returning.

Reviewed on Aug 14, 2018

I love Dr. Morris. and all nurses and aides are almost always friendly and helpful.

I've never had a bad experience. my provider Dr Morris is a wonderful and compassionate asset to Cleveland Clinic. I have recommended this facility to all my friends and assured them of great care and utmost courtesy by everyone at West Oakm Beach as well as in Weston Florida.

Reviewed on Aug 6, 2018

Dr. Paige Morris is an excellent doctor. I am extremely pleased with her care, knowledge, expertise and genuine concern for patients.

Reviewed on Aug 2, 2018

It was my first time seeing this doctor. She was 45 minutes late for the appt. When she entered the exam room she did not say hello, she did not introduce herself, and she did not apologize for her tardiness. At the end of her exam, she left the exam room (she went to get a technician to perform another test) and never returned to say good-bye, any indications of what was to happen next (scheduled some tests but I don't know what happens after the test results come in). She was extremely personable during the exam and listened to what I had to say, but I felt there were some issues which she should have raised but didn't (I didn't think of them until afterwards).

Reviewed on Jul 19, 2018

Dr. Morris is very honest she explains things to you I am truly glad I found her as my doctor she truly cares about her patients

Reviewed on Jul 17, 2018

This was my first visit with Dr. Morris - I thought she was amazing. The wait time was not her fault - there had been some kind of emergency. At least I could see on the board in the waiting room that she was running behind.

Reviewed on Jul 9, 2018

Dr Morris is a very nice and very good Doctor, takes her time to listen!

Reviewed on Jun 7, 2018

Dr.Morris is the ONLY reason I have taken as good a care of myself ! She understands that I have white coat syndrome, have PTSD because I am a cancer survivor and her demeanor is soothing and comforting. I feel safe with her and she doesn't terrify me . I know I'll be ok no matter what comes up health wise . I ADORE Cleavland Clinic -it's staff and their professionalism. just might have extended my life because of my actually showing up when I'm scheduled!!!!!!

Reviewed on Jun 7, 2018

I can ask Dr Morris anything -she'll discuss it thoroughly.

Reviewed on May 30, 2018

loved the physician very thorough and seemed caring. She addressed all my concerns one by one, couldn't have asked for a better visit.

Reviewed on May 29, 2018

did not ask key questions like my last mentrual cycle (doctor had to ask that), when I was listing medications I was on, kept moving to the next screen, did not ask if I drink alcohol or whether I have a history of depression like most providers do.

Reviewed on May 25, 2018

this provider likes to spend as much time as necessary with her patients ( a good attribute!) Some require more time than allotted. The allotted time by the Clinic is much too short (15-20 min.) especially for a yearly checkup.

Reviewed on Apr 20, 2018

Dr. Morris is the best. We all love her.
