Excellent Doctor

Reviewed on Jul 28, 2021

Would encourage people to not see this doctor. He talked over me, appeared disinterested and cold. I would ask a question, such as timeline -abruptly stated "you don't ever have to do this, I'm telling you the only way to relieve pain is total knee replacement". When asked how I might prepare for surgery - "nothing". Can I exercise? Yes. I do silver sneakers and yoga. Are squats and warrior ok? "No squats". I was disgusted by the lack of recognizing my concerns and one word answers. I will not return to this doctor and would encourage others to not see him. Never felt so belittled by a physician.

Always good with Dr. Scarcella and his staff

Reviewed on May 26, 2021

Dr. Scarcella had performed surgery on my other shoulder years ago with a very successful outcome. He especially treated my wife very kindly post op when discussing the outcome. For this reason, I specifically requested him again when I needed treatment. I think a repeat "customer" is the best review anyone can provide and I am very happy that I was able to be seen/treated by Dr. Scarcella again.

Reviewed on May 21, 2021

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a Cleveland clinic care provider or any care provider at all in my life. This doctor would not let me finish a sentence and overtalked anything I tried to say. He dismissed my previous doctor's diagnosis and stated that the treatment that was provided was the wrong course of action despite the fact that I had 95% improvement. At one point he threw his arms up , pushed his chair back and said to me " go ahead and tell me what you wanna do......" This doctor communicates very poorly and cannot be reasoned with. You can barely ask him a question without him insulting your intelligence immediately. After looking up reviews from various places online it seems to be a very common trend with this doctor. I highly regret ever seeing him. I would personally tell people to avoid this doctor like the plague.

Reviewed on May 17, 2021

The doctor did an excellent job; however, I had to schedule with another doctor to get treatment.

I just love Dr. Scarcella. I received 2 injection in the bilateral torn rotator cuffs. I felt an immediate relief. Its been near 2 weeks and still feel pretty good, the pain was actually making me ill. He is very professional and an excellent Doctor. I told him I had bilateral knee complete replacements and he said he knew, he read my chart. Great Doctor I am recommending to friends family and neighbors. Judy Hough
