About Ibrahim Sozen, MD

Dr. Sozen was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. There, he attended Cerrahpasa School of Medicine, University of Istanbul and graduated in 1993. Then he went on to graduate from the Yale OB-GYN Residency Program in 1999. He became American Board Certified in 2003 and elected as a Fellow of the American College of OB-GYN. Dr. Ibrahim Sozen has over 25 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. He has delivered over 4,000 babies and conducted thousands of gynecologic surgery cases during his medical career. He has 15 articles published in the medical literature and has been cited in over 940 scientific studies. He practices general obstetrics and gynecology, including but not limited to pregnancy care, fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain, vaginal prolapse, menopause, urinary incontinence, irregular bleeding, genital infections, gynecologic cancer screening.
