Dr. Ghouse completed a two-year clinical & academic Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at Northwestern University's Osher Center for Integrative Medicine. During her time in Chicago, Dr. Ghouse was an assistant professor of Family Medicine at the Feinberg School of Medicine and was actively involved in teaching and developing a Culinary Medicine curriculum. She is dual board certified in Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Ghouse has been practicing Functional Medicine since residency, where she created a food pharmacy program that addressed food insecurity in a pre-diabetic patient population in the Detroit metro area.
She is passionate about precision medicine, disease prevention, and optimizing metabolic health. Dr. Ghouse utilizes her unique background in Osteopathic, Lifestyle, Integrative, and Functional Medicine to identify and address the root causes of her patients' concerns.

I love Dr. Ghouse. She is always willing to try new things. She doesn't give up. I wish all my medical providers listened like she does. I have been feeling ill for a long time. She was very attentive, caring, and empathetic, which made me feel seen and heard. She addressed my issues, and within a week, I was feeling so much better. The fact that she took the time necessary made all of the difference in me receiving the care that I needed. I wish I had met her years ago.

After having completed hours and hours of pre-appointment questionnaires and explaining in detail my medical concerns, the doctor entered the room and said "what brings you here? What's going on"? I never felt like she spent much time reviewing my materials before the appointment.

Dr Ghouse is fantastic. The best doctor I have seen our of four there. She needs longer appointments and more openings to see patients regularly. 30-60 days is too long if a protocol isn't working. Dr Ghouse considers my feedback, any questions I have. She is constantly brainstorming. She comes to our appointments prepared, she has a plan of care and adjusts it as we speak. She is encouraging me not to give up on resolving these complicated problems and to keep trying new things. She reads my test results carefully. Other providers I had sidnt look at my records until we were on zoom which was frustrating. She is up to date on the latest research, and she doesn't make me feel stupid for asking questions. She sees the link between problems as well. I look forward to my appointments with her, despite not feeling great, because she listens to me and is analyzing my health data carefully. I wish all doctors had her empathy and analytical abilities.

Dr. Ghouse is probably the best doctor I have ever worked with. She showed genuine concern and care for my condition. She listened to any of my concerns and addressed my questions thoroughly. From day one Dr. Ghouse was very professional and informative. Dr. Ghouse took the time to explain what she was doing for us in regards to the program, blood work and the vitamins that we needed. She explained our test results and answered any questions or concerns so that we could understand it.
