Dr. Alexander Williams is board-certified in endocrinology and internal medicine. He is a Florida native and was raised in Sarasota, Florida.
Dr. Williams completed a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Prior to his fellowship, Dr. Williams completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Virginia Tech Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia.
Dr. Williams completed his medical training at the Ross University School of Medicine.
A published author of multiple research papers in endocrinology and internal medicine, Dr. Williams has presented at regional and national conferences.
Dr. Williams is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, the Endocrine Society, and the American Diabetes Association.

Dr.Williams did a fantastic job at making me feel comfortable and starting from the beginning with every explanation or concern. He walked me through each case scenario good and bad and explained the path we will take rather than only giving me the good outcome which helped with any anxiety I had. He was willing to see me again really soon even if it meant over booking himself so I can get the treatment needed asap

This is my favorite/best doctor! I travel 45 minutes away (I could go 10 minutes to another doctor) just because I do not want to go to any other endoncronologist besides Dr Williams. He listens to me and prescribes his knowledge of my condition to me in am understanding, compassionate way. He is by far the best.

Dr Williams is one of the best endocrinologists I've had in my 11 and almost a half years of having diabetes. He's treated me like a human and takes factors into consideration, rather than going based off of numbers like a machine. He's very straightforward and helped me a lot when I had an emergency. I will always recommend him to anyone who needs that service.

Staff and Dr. Williams absolute ten. Dr. Williams was very through, and caring. He also consolidated my two thyroid medications into one tablet. This saved me $35 a month. Add to medical file Angioplasty on 6-1-22, PCP will send a report. Very nice to call the telephone number, and someone answers.

I was a new patient for Dr. Williams. When he came into see me he was on time and had already looked up my records and was prepared to discuss the reason for my visit. He outline several options for me going forward. I selected one of the options and I felt he had given me all the information I needed to make my choice.
