Biography

About Kiyanna Williams, MD

Kiyanna Williams, MD is Section Head of the Skin of Color Section and Staff Physician in the Section of Micrographic Surgery (Mohs) and Cutaneous Oncology in the Department of Dermatology. 

Dr. Williams received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology graduating magna cum laude from Boston University and received her medical degree from University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Williams completed a transitional internship at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI and a residency in dermatology at University of Michigan, followed by a fellowship in Micrographic Surgery (Mohs) and Cutaneous Oncology at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Williams is a fellow of the American Board of Dermatology. 

Her special interests include Mohs micrographic surgery, skin of color and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Williams has been involved extensively in medical education, mentorship and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

Pretty bad for a consultation. She didn't take the time to explain what kind of cyst I might have, if it hurt me, etc. She didn't seem compassionate about me concerned about having a bald spot on my head. Not reassuring at all. I Being self-pay, the consultation was very costly with very little benefit.

I can't say enough good things regarding my experience. Recommended the biopsy after the first dr dismissed it. Treated with care and respect. Called me right away once the results were in. So thankful. She got all the cancer the first time.
