To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

I can't say enough good things regarding my experience. Recommended the biopsy after the first dr dismissed it. Treated with care and respect. Called me right away once the results were in. So thankful. She got all the cancer the first time.

Dr. Williams was great. She listened to me and answered all of my questions and concerns. She did not make me feel rushed. She was present and made me feel like I was an important patient. I really appreciate and enjoy her caring bedside manner.

I just felt rushed. She looked at the concern but didn't offer to provide a skin check, which I was asked when scheduling if I would like to have done during the visit. I was a bit embarrassed that my concern was a simple skin tag and treated as such, which was fine but I left feeling like it was a wasted, nonsense visit. She was pleasant enough; just no frills for lack of better explanation.

I had to schedule my first appointment with Dr. Williams because my regular Dermatologist was booked out for 3 months. With my history of Melanoma, I was not going to wait that long. Dr. Williams is 45 minutes away from my home, but I think she is great & will continue to make that drive to be treated by her.
