Biography

About Thomas Waters, MD

Thomas A. Waters, MD,FACEP joined the Cleveland Clinic in 1997 after completing his residency in Emergency Medicine at Metrohealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

His areas of specialty interest include Sports Medicine, event medicine, environmental emergencies and Wilderness Medicine with a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of heat emergencies and hypothermia.

Dr. Waters is  Team Physician for the Cleveland Indians and has formerly served as Team Physician for the Cleveland Browns for four seasons.

Dr. Waters has authored and co-authored several chapters in textbooks of Emergency Medicine and has recently been appointed to be an Oral Board Examiner for the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
