Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

I was treated rudely by the person who took me back to the exam room. But I like Dr. McCoy enough that I'd still go back to him.

A very good experience. Dr. McCoy may very well be the best Doctor I have ever dealt with at any time of my life. He is extremely personable and appears to know his area of expertise very well.

Dr. Brett McCoy always courteous and knowledgeable and always pleased with his help.

Reviewed on Feb 26, 2018

I have been a patient of Dr. McCoy's for about two years. Dr. McCoy has always provided me with best care, answers to all my questions and provided me with as much time as I've needed during each meeting. Dr. McCoy performed the total knee replacement surgery on my wife. He was great! Her result and recovery has been excellent. These are the reason I followed Dr. McCoy to the Clinic. And I would continue to be his patient and would follow him if he would move on to another healthcare organization.

Reviewed on Feb 15, 2018

My visit was handled quickly, however very professionally. I was treated very respectfully with clear, accurate information. Very pleased.
