I enjoyed Dr. Hardy and his staff they are very friendly, helpful, and professional. My entire hospital experience was good including my vascular surgeon (Behzad Farivar ) . Mary Beth Verderber was very helpful and friendly too. I am sure that I have left people out including scores of nurses in the different units and other support staff , however I have nothing but praise for all of them. Thank you for all your help in my time of need

No problems encountered since I (the Dad) spoke with Dr. Hardy personally to schedule the appointment. A secretary in the office called to confirm.

Dr. Hardy was wonderful. He took the time to explain everything to us. He answered all of our questions and then some. A very good listener and did not rush one bit. Very good bedside manner. This was not only evident during the consultation but during our daughter's whole peri-operative and hospital stay. He made it so seamless. As a healthcare professional and parent his care and approach was so appreciated.

Dr Hardy was very nice as well along with his nurse Brittany... everyone made me feel reassured about my condition and made me feel that I was seeking out care with the best possible professionals that I could!

Dr. Hardy is an exceptional doctor. He listens to my concerns and fears. He takes the time to answer all of my questions and includes my husband in all of our discussions. My case does not follow a typical textbook case and Dr. Hardy never once dismissed anything I say, or makes me feel stupid, but looks at each issue and treats me as a whole person, not just a bunch of different problems. Because of his determination, caring spirit, patience and willingness to take on a challenge I no longer am using a wheelchair and we have discovered a disorder other doctors never thought of looking for. I truly believe that if it wasn't for Dr. Hardy my life would have been short but I now have hope for a long, full life.

More than an hour late with no apology. No eye contact. My daughter was recently diagnosed with a rare condition called nutcracker syndrome. Traveled from NY to see this physician as Cleveland clinic reported to be a facility that treats this condition. The physician seemed rushed, said, "you'll have to convince me it is nutcracker syndrome." We came to see him to have the condition evaluated. This statement seemed bizarre. Then said he has been "wrong before. Didn't think someone had compression and indeed they did." My daughter was scheduled for a sonogram next but the doctor canceled it and requested records from another provider. When I reiterated we traveled from NY, he said, after he gets the records, he will call. I thought they would request a faxed report right then Had a person with him who was not introduced. He asked her to give us a card with his information and then he left the room. My daughter said. "mom, I am not sending that doctor anything. I would not want him to treat me. The ultimate irony is that I work in a hospital system and tech courses to staff about how to treat patients. The Cleveland Clinic empathy video is used as a teaching tool. I felt like the nurse who told me the doctor was backlogged and the doctor both needed to watch that video.

I'm very grateful for all the Cleveland Clinic has done for me to have a better quality of life. I'm a Veteran, & unfortunately, the VA informed me of this cituation I have, & was "addimate" about me allowing them to operate on me. when I refused, & insisted on returning to Cleveland, they had no choice but to allow me to. (with protest) I'm very grateful, Dr Hardy, & Dr Smolock saw fit to "Not" operate. if I'd allowed the VA to, I probably wouldn't be alive to tell this story. it's also unfortunate, that if I ever do need to return to Cleveland, it will be another battle with the VA. I'll fight that battle when I come to it. I thank you from the bottom of my mended heart, for everything ya'll have done for me, & the treatment I've recieved this time, as well as last year, when I had Open Heart. the Cleveland Clinic will always continue to be in my daily prayers.
