Dr. Arnaldo Perez, MD is an allergist/immunologist at Cleveland Clinic Florida, specializing in the diagnosis and management of asthma, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), eczema, hereditary angioedema, urticaria (hives), respiratory, skin, medicine and food allergies as well as the evaluation and treatment of primary immunodeficiency disorders in both adult and pediatric populations. Originally from Puerto Rico, Dr. Perez obtained his medical and subspecialty training at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences campus. During his time on the island he ran his own private practice, served as president of the Puerto Rican Allergist Association, president of the Allergy/Immunology Chapter of the Puerto Rico College of Physicians, and was an associate professor of the Ramon Ruiz Arnau University Hospital Internal Medicine Residency program. He subsequently worked in Columbus, Ohio where he served as a clinician and medical director of a large multi-physician allergy/immunology practice, before joining Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Perez is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He is fluent in both English and Spanish, and treats patients of all ages at our Weston, Coral Springs and Wellington locations. He has published articles in peer-reviewed medical journals as well as general interest publications, and served as speaker for numerous conferences and lectures for physicians, health-care personnel, and the general public. He brings with him a commitment to providing outstanding medical care and improving patients’ quality of life.
