About Julia Cartaya, MD

Julia Cartaya, M.D. is a pediatric endocrinologist who did her training at Massachusetts General Hospital for Children and graduated in 2015. She started her career in Dallas, at Children's Medical Center and moved to Cleveland in 2017 to start work at Cleveland Clinic Children's. She is enjoys all of pediatric endocrinology, but is particularly interested in transgender youth, thyroid disease and type 1 diabetes.

Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. This Dr was recommended by my pediatrician just off her reputation and very thorough notes. She doserves every positive review. we ran into her before my appointment and she was super friendly. I was happy to see she was our dr when she walked in. she joked with us, made my baby feel comfortable and was great at answering questions and explaining course of action. she was great!
