Industry Relationships

Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.

To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

As of 9/4/2020, Dr. Trivedi has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. Public Health Service-Reportable Financial Conflicts of Interest. Cleveland Clinic scientists and physicians engage in basic, translational and clinical research activities, working to solve health problems, enhance patient care and improve quality of life for patients. Interactions with industry are essential to bringing the researchers' discoveries to the public, but can present the potential for conflicts of interest related to their research activities. I was very pleased with the services of Dr. Trivedi, as it is my perception of him being a competent professional health care provider, who seems to care for his patients beyond my expectations. He was respectful. He welcomed as well as answered my questions, with affability. I have chosen Dr. Triveti as my Primary Care Doctor.

Ratings in this section is solely Dr. centric. the staff was fine. I am now wondering the purpose and need for a primary. All I seem to get is told to see specialists. I can figure that out and not spend money on someone to refer me to a specialist/department.

Dr. and Nurse very professional

Reviewed on Oct 29, 2020

Dr. T seems very knowledgeable and book smart; however, he can improve by attempting to get to know the patient better. There seems to be an invisible glass as he looks to me as a "lab" rather than a "person". Too much of his guidance is very text book, I read the same online. Prior Dr. Singh, tried harder to cut the awkward Dr/Patient relationship and get to know you better to root our your personalized challenges with health or came with unique advice. Dr. T, even when you try to communicate what is concerning to you, brushes off or is too internalized with his thought process. This is tough, especially when talking about issues that are not so easy for the patient. He is a perfectly 'fine' Dr., creds are impressive. However, it would be great, if he really tried to get to understand the patient better, personalize the conversation, and help them outside of the WebMD 101 advice.

To the drs credit, he did give me a 30 day supply of the med in question, But I am still left with researching a dr who will prescribe all my meds, which I have been taking over 10 years. this combination of medications have taken many years to refine so that I can complete my day in reasonable well being. the second proble which I feel was umnrssar

my problem with the visit:. my first t scheduled visit was with Dr Quadri in March 2920. Due to covid. the office called me and reschedule for July 24. I called the office mid June to explain I would be out of several meds I take daily. the office was responsive and I got an appt the following week with Dr Traversing. I asked should I submit any information on history or background meds and was told NO. the dr was Pat OK sent and knowledgeable but had an issue renewing my sleeping med which I have taken for about 10 years. (the psoriatic arthritis and double knee replacement issue has exacerbated the insomnia) I was told a pain med might be better but early in my treatment . these proved to be a problem. while the dr did issue a prescription for a 30 day supply of my current med. , I am left to find another internist so as not to go through the trial and error process. it took over 6 years to find the right combination of meds that work for me and being 72, I prefer not to do that again. I EISH I HAD KNOWN IF THE DT HAD A PROBLEM WITH ANY OF MY MEDS BEFORE I GOT TO THE CLINIC...NOW . I HAVE TO DO THIS ALL OVER AGAIN AND I LIVE 1 1/2 HOURS AWAY AND NO CAR! PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEM!!! I WOULD APPRECIATE A CALL SO THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ME AGAIN WITH ANY FUTURE VISITS.
