Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.
As of 2/24/2019, Dr. Al-Jaghbeer has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. Interactions with industry are essential to bringing the researchers' discoveries to the public, but can present the potential for conflicts of interest related to their research activities. the scheduler was very helpful and informative on the phone when scheduling my initial appointment with this doctor. The nurse at this doctors office was not just courteous but she made you feel comfortable. This approach was also carried on by the doctor. I did not feel like just a number in the numerous patients that the doctor had to see that day. The doctor took the time to go over my test results (including images/scans). He explained the results without alarming me or making me feel that results are 100% nothing. He explained the good and the bad of what was discovered could mean. I have been to a lot of offices/departments at Cleveland Clinic and found this office to be the one I liked the best.

Wait time waiting for Dr. to see me was 15 minutes after medical assistant took vitals, etc. Which in turn made me late for work, where they do not honor a note that you had a dr. appt. and don't take into consideration that it was not your fault that you are late and get charged with a late occurrence on your record.

One of many things that impressed me about Dr. Al Jaghbeer is his ability to recognize my level of understanding of my condition and related medical terms and concepts. He doesn't repeat things that I already know, but he gives me excellent information when I need it. Great doc who cares for his patients!
