Industry Relationships

Industry Relationships

Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.

To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

As of 9/6/2018, Dr. Singh has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. Public Health Service-Reportable Financial Conflicts of Interest. Cleveland Clinic scientists and physicians engage in basic, translational and clinical research activities, working to solve health problems, enhance patient care and improve quality of life for patients. Interactions with industry are essential to bringing the researchers' discoveries to the public, but can present the potential for conflicts of interest related to their research activities. Click here to view a listing of instances where Cleveland Clinic has identified a Public Health Service (PHS)-Reportable Financial Conflict of Interest and has put measures in place to ensure that, to the extent possible, the design, conduct and reporting of the research is free from bias.

Saw Dr. Singh for the first time due to illness. my previous Dr is no longer with Cleveland Clinic. I will be pleased to have Dr. Singh as my PCP.

I felt extremely comfortable with the Doctor and his staff was amazing.

Dr listened to me and cared about what I was feeling. Gave me his thoughts and opinion which I found invaluable.

No one from the provider's office calls with test results because I can see them on My Chart. Dr. Singh is always pleasant and knowledgeable.

Dr. Signh was Terrific. His nurse and staff were very helpful. Glad I made the right choice. The only suggestion I have is the check out system which was unorganized as to who was next in line and very confusing. It took longer to check out than my whole visit with the doctor.

the doctors I've seen have always been great! only problem is they're probably too great or not enough great ones staffed. because they were always booked 3-6 months out! not very convenient, but worth it considering my past experiences with doctors. just not that many good, knowledgeable ones around. this time around I was VERY surprised my doctor had availability within a few weeks. was very happy & hope it stays that way

Dr Sing is an awesome doctor, very knowledgeable & easily diagnoses my issues. only problem is I barely had any time with him. entire visit felt rushed. I saw a nurse, then a student doctor did a brief exam, then finally Dr Sing came in briefly to "discuss" my file/exam. would have liked for him to administer my exam and just spend more time with me discussing things. all this money spent on insurance for a rushed appointment. definitely didn't get my money's worth. not the doctors fault, not upset with him. probably over booking appointments is the cause.

Reviewed on Jun 8, 2018

please staff more amazing doctors like Dr Sing so I don't have to wait 3-6 months for an appointment. also, if you're going to have student doctors administer the exams I think it's only RIGHT that the doctor be there as well. or just have my doctor give me my exam. I have a PCP for a reason. I go to see HIM & expect to spend more than 2 minutes at the very end of my appointment with him. thank you

Mr Singh, is a great doctor that i respect. He really cares. Treat us as family. Bless to have him.

I was trying to get an appointment with Dr. Avallone. He recommended Dr. Singh. This was my first appointment for a complete physical.

I love my doctor and his staff.

53 minutes after the appointment time in the examination room before seeing the medical student. 1 hour and 5 minutes before seeing the provider.

Dr Singh is an excellent physician in my opinion. He always makes me feel that he cares about my health.

Dr. Singh is an excellent medical diagnostician. He has proven to be very astute in assessing both verbal and visual cues. His genius is very evident in his practice. You are very fortunate to have Dr. Singh. Cherish his service with you.

Reviewed on Nov 16, 2017

Dr. Singh is always courteous and conscientious during my annual visits. I respect his professional ability and he does a very good job ensuring that I am satisfied as a patient, as well as, a customer

Reviewed on Nov 14, 2017

I am a generally very healthy person. The doctor seemed to be in a hurry. The "annual physical" was laughably brief. Many of the questions on this survey should have an n/a option as they really don't apply to me.
