Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

Dr. Cantillon is fabulous and I have absolute confidence in his medical skill and judgment. He continues the tradition of excellence I have always encountered of everyone at the Cleveland Clinic.

Very impresses with the whole process at the Cleveland Clinic. It is a well run operation. Dr Cantillon and his staff are great. All my experiences in the hospital have been excellent.

Overall, meeting with Dr. Catillon was excellent experience. He provided information, diagnosis, and treatment choices. Doctors at the heart care facility in Fairfax country were robots -- spent 15 minutes per visit at the most. Provided scant information and no treatment alternatives. I was very pleased with interaction with Dr. Catillon and his assistant.

Dr. Cantillon is an excellent listener, and he places a high value on communication with patients. He told me to be sure and contact him immediately if any unusual symptoms arose. He also told me that the best way to communicate with him was via the CCF My Chart message system, which he checks frequently. I really appreciated his concern and caring, and especially his accessibility!

I went to Cleveland Clinic for a second opinion and was impressed with the efficiency of the clinic and also found myself a new doctor. Dr. Cantillon was very knowledgeable and familiar with my case which tells me he read my records that were sent to him. I applaud his bedside manner and would recommend my family to him.

Dr Noll and DR cantillon spent plenty of time with me and my wife, answered our questions and concerns, and proposed treatment re pacemaker/defirillator. I have already recommended Cleveland Clinic to several of my friends based on my initial experience.

Dr. Cantillon was amazing! He has a wonderful bedside manner and took the time to learn about my health issues/concerns. He even let me know of ways to improve my tachycardia. Though you would assume any cardiologist would have given that information, I have seen many and not one doctor offered plans to improve my fast pulse. He definitely takes his time with his patients and makes you feel like a person and not just another patient.

Nice written follow up on the day of the appointment and mailed to my home a few days later.
