Biography

About Jessica Vensel Rundo, MD, MS

Jessica Vensel Rundo, MD, MS is a staff physician at the Cleveland Clinic Sleep Disorders Center.  She is board certified in neurology and sleep medicine.  Specialty interests include adult sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, idiopathic hypersomnia, restless leg syndrome, REM sleep behavior disorder, sleep walking, sleep terrors, and circadian rhythm disorders. 

 Dr. Rundo received her medical degree from Medical College of Ohio in Toledo.  She completed her adult neurology residency and sleep fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She also has a Masters in Science from The Ohio State University. 

Dr. Rundo is the program director for the sleep medicine fellowship program at the Cleveland Clinic and regularly participates in education related-activities for trainees of all levels.  She serves on numerous committees within the sleep center, the neurology department, and the Neurological Institute where she assists with process improvement, trainee education, and overall daily operations.

Dr. Rundo is personable, friendly and very professional. She took the time to understand my concerns about starting a new medication, and thoroughly explained all of my options in a way that helped me understand the risks, benefits and rationale to help me make a decision. I really trust her and value her expertise in being able to manage my condition.
