The PEDS-QL was used with the following groups in 2017-2018: Assistive Technology Consult program (ATC), Interactive Metronome (IM), Master Movers, Mindful Movement, Model Me, SHINE, Social Thinking Camp, and Zumbini.
The PedsQL is a health-related quality of life (HRQOL) measure for both healthy children and adolescents and those with acute and chronic health conditions. This is a brief, multidimensional measure (Physical, Emotional, Social, School Functioning) that is valid, reliable and responsive to clinical change over time. The 23-item PedsQL Generic Core Scales were designed to measure the core dimensions of health as delineated by the World Health Organization, as well as school functioning. The 4 Multidimensional Scales include physical functioning, emotional functioning, social functioning, and school functioning. The three Summary Scores are: Total Scale Score, Physical Health Summary Score and Psychosocial Health Summary Score. A 4.5 point change in the Total Scale Score for parent proxy-report is a minimal clinically meaningful difference.
