Hossam (Sam) Bayoumy is chief executive officer of Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation Hospital, Avon. In this role, Mr. Bayoumy oversees daily hospital operations and closely collaborates with medical and administrative staff to develop and deploy clinical programs focused on quality, safety and outcomes with a commitment to delivering a world-class care experience to patients and their families.
Prior to this post, Mr. Bayoumy was the senior director of rehabilitation services and clinical leader for the Brain Injury Program at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in New Jersey.
Mr. Bayoumy is a licensed physical therapist with more than 25 years of experience caring for patients with a wide range of rehabilitation needs. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively with survivors of stroke, traumatic brain injury, limb loss and other orthopedic and neurological conditions in the acute hospital, inpatient, outpatient and sub-acute rehabilitation settings.
Mr. Bayoumy holds a master of business administration degree with healthcare concentration from the University of Scranton and a bachelor of science in physical therapy from Kean College & University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
