Orthopaedic disorders of the feet and ankles can be an ongoing source of pain and irritation. We understand that these disorders can also interfere with everyday activities, and can become debilitating if left untreated.
Following your one-on-one consultation and diagnosis, your Orthopaedic Institute doctor will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan. He or she will sit down side-by-side with you to discuss the recommendations and answer any questions you and your family may have. Our specialists are experienced in treating a variety of foot and ankle disorders, including:
- Achilles tendonitis
- Adult and adolescent flatfoot deformity
- Arthritis of the foot and ankle
- Bone spurs
- Bunion and bunionette deformities
- Chronic ankle instability
- Diabetic foot infections
- Fractures of the foot and ankle
- Heel pain (Plantar Fasciitis)
- Ingrown toenails
- Morton's neuroma
- Plantar warts
- Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome
- Tendon ruptures
Treatment options may include medication, therapy or surgery. If surgery is needed, your physician will explain the process, as well as any follow-up care or therapy that may be necessary. Depending on the type of procedure and its complexity, it may be performed on an inpatient or outpatient basis.
