COVID-19 vaccines expand to select Family Health Centers in Ohio

Beginning June 1, patients 12 years and older can receive a Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination during their primary care appointment at eight locations throughout Ohio.

Patients receiving their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine can then schedule a nurse visit to receive their second dose as a follow up appointment. Patients with their CDC vaccination card, who need to complete the series, may receive the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine during an appointment as well.

Primary care appointments include the following:

  • Family medicine
  • Internal medicine
  • General pediatrics

Locations offering COVID-19 vaccines include:

  • Beachwood Family Health Center
  • Lakewood Family Health Center
  • Lorain Family Health Center
  • Main campus internal medicine department 
  • Main campus pediatrics department
  • Richard E. Jacobs Health Center
  • Stephanie Tubbs Jones Health Center
  • Twinsburg Family Health Center
  • Wooster Family Health Center

Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or provide written consent from their parent or guardian in order to receive the vaccine.

Additionally, any Ohioan 12 years or older can schedule a COVID-19 vaccine appointment at one of our dedicated vaccine clinic locations through MyChart or by calling 216.448.4117, Tuesday - Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
