Career Opportunity

Career Opportunity

Our perioperative surgical nurses have the opportunity to teach, to learn and to grow in their careers. Along with learning how to provide the safest care for our surgical patients, they learn the many technical aspects involved in their overall scrub and circulating responsibilities. Our perioperative nurses direct their nursing careers by selecting a surgical specialty that is most desirable to them. Our nurses also have the chance to be directly involved in perioperative research, with the potential to create a new paradigm and direct our surgical nursing practice.

Training

Our nurse residency and nurse associate programs are unique in offering nurses in training a chance to experience a rotation in one of our 280 Cleveland Clinic ORs. And our new perioperative nurses go through an intensive onboarding program to get them up to speed in a busy and dynamic environment.
