The Section of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Related Disorders provides comprehensive clinical care for patients with ALS and other motor neuron diseases (MND) in a multidisciplinary ALS/MND Team Clinic. To identify opportunities for improvement in compliance with evidence-based ALS care, the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) has developed an ALS Quality Measurement Set.¹

A systematic chart review was performed, using the office visit notes for 2018. N = ALS patients with data available for at least 2 office visits to either a neuromuscular specialist or the ALS team clinic.
