Patient-reported outcomes (PROs) are paramount to assessing disease progression, treatment efficacy, and health-related quality of life (HRQoL). Cleveland Clinic uses an atrial fibrillation database, a web-based survey system, to collect longitudinal PROs for patients with atrial fibrillation.

ᵃThe N = 3002 represents the number of patient follow-up surveys completed at 12 months post ablation beginning January 1, 2014 through May 31, 2023. At 12 months post ablation, 78% of patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) reported marked improvement with respect to their AF.
